Printing Machines
Three very special machines -- a printing press with carved wooden type; a pencil embosser; and a pencil embossing vending machine.
Printing presses helped fuel the American Revolution by providing colonists a means to share their discontent and develop solidarity. Underscore this classroom lesson and invite children to print their own broadsheets or add their names to a petition.
